A Letter from our Founder

Dear friends and clients of Harrison’s of Leesburg,

Thank you for allowing me a moment of your time to explain what we offer at the highest tier of our services available to you. First, let me suggest that our exclusive in-home Wardrobe Consultation may not be the best solution for every Harrison’s of Leesburg client. I have personally developed this wardrobe evaluation and individualized recommendation process based on years of experience selling professional attire to businessmen. This service is designed for the manager or executive who must convey a supremely polished professional image four to five or more days out of the week. He has a number of suits or sport coats already, but he realizes that he is too busy to give his wardrobe the attention it deserves. Not only that, but recognizing that his personal appearance is paramount to how he is perceived among his peers, he understands the value to his career in bringing in a consultant to analyze and advise in sartorial matters.

If you are ready for such a step, here is what you can expect during your personal Wardrobe Consultation process. I will schedule an appointment to meet you in your home. The initial interview will help me to understand your situation and your needs. Then, I will examine your current business wardrobe, assessing Scope, Suitability, Condition, and Fit. Scope involves both the depth of your line-up, to borrow a baseball analogy, and its range and versatility. Suitability involves identifying styles and colors not only appropriate for the occasion but also complementary to the wearer. After the initial interview, you are only required to be present for the Fit evaluation and closing interview that conclude the first appointment. Generally, I allow two hours for this visit. I will subsequently schedule a follow-up appointment about a week later to deliver a report which includes my assessment of Scope, Suitability, Condition, and Fit, a spreadsheet detailing the inventory of your wardrobe, and my proposed wardrobe strategy going forward, including action steps pertaining to your existing wardrobe and recommendations for future purchases. This is typically a 30 to 45 minute appointment.

Accompanying this letter, you will find a current schedule of fees and a sample of the feedback I have received from clients who have benefited from this service. I trust that you now have the information you need to respond to my offer. Please contact me by any means if you have the least question. I look forward to serving you in any way possible, whether it be through your personalized Wardrobe Consultation, our fully-custom clothing sales, or our retail ready-made clothing partner.

Your servant,

B. Powell Harrison IV
